Ready-Made UK Ltd: Incorporation Date, Documents, Capital and Transfer
When buying a ready-made UK Ltd, you receive an already registered English legal entity with its own company number and original incorporation date. After the purchase, the company number and incorporation date remain unchanged: the shareholder, director, address and, if required, the name are changed.
Although an English Ltd company is not offshore in substance, a shareholder of a company in England can be an offshore company, for example a Marshall Islands offshore company with a completely closed register. Such a structure is permitted by law.
For a large project, you can order a vintage company incorporated 10–15 years ago. In 2026, these are companies incorporated approximately in 2011–2016. On a separate request, UK Ltd companies with stated share capital from £1,000,000 are selected when a significant statement of capital is important in the project documents.
Before buying, you can open the Companies House record and see the company number, incorporation date, status, filing history, filed accounts and confirmation statements. After the share transfer, a Stock Transfer Form, register of members and new share certificate are prepared; if the director changes, the company details are updated.
