What Is Confirmed in the Confirmation Statement
Before filing, the main company details are compared: registered office, directors, SIC codes, capital information and other data shown on the register. If something has changed, the required change is completed before or together with the annual cycle.
A Confirmation Statement does not replace annual financial accounts. It is a separate corporate filing, so it is convenient to include it in the annual package together with the registered office, mail and annual accounts.
After filing, a new entry appears in filing history, and you receive confirmation of the completed action and, on request, an up-to-date company extract.
