Good News for 2026: More Time for Digital Accounts
On 9 June 2026 Companies House announced that mandatory filing of annual accounts through commercial software will begin on 1 April 2028 rather than in April 2027. Companies received an additional preparation period.
Small and micro companies will be able not to publish the profit and loss account on the public register, although it will still be filed with Companies House.
